12/9-13 - PTO's Penguin Santa Shop returns - students can bring money to shop for family for holiday gifts
12/11 - 2nd & 3rd Music Programs. 2nd at 6pm; 3rd at 7pm. Students please report to homeroom classes 15 min prior to performance time.
12/13 - 3rd Grade Pancakes with Your Peeps, 8:25-9am
12/19 - Grade level PBIS rewards
12/19 - PreK Holiday Parties
12/20 - Grades K-5 Holiday Parties
12/20-1/3 - Winter Break
1/6/25 - Return to School
In addition, please remember to send in grade level assigned items to benefit the Salvation Army from Dec. 4 to 17.
Finally, attached to the email is 12 Days of Joy to lead into our Winter Break! Join Bucyrus City Schools in counting down to break with some cheer-filled holiday spirit days starting this Thursday, December 5.

Good afternoon BES Families! We wanted to send a reminder that this week is our Pink Week Spirit Week Monday through Thursday (no school on Friday). Monday kicks off the week with your favorite jersey or school spirit gear as we help tackle breast cancer. Tuesday is superhero day. Wednesday is our Pink Out. Thursday is crazy sock day. Please join in and help support one of our own while also showing school spirit!

Good evening BES Families. We want to remind you about a couple of important deadlines coming up this week. Due this Friday is your family RSVP for Reading Under the Lights on October 16. A lot of hard work has gone in to bringing this exciting event back for our students and families. We look forward to seeing you there! Next, a reminder that the t-shirt fundraiser forms and money are due this Friday as well. There is a sample shirt on display in the office. You can also order online by using the QR code. We appreciate your support in this fundraiser and hope you enjoy your new Redmen gear!
Coming home tomorrow with your student is an order form for t-shirts. This is a fundraiser to support Bucyrus Elementary and Bucyrus Secondary DECA.
Shirts are super soft, black, short sleeved shirts with the design created by BSS students.
Shirts are $18 for sizes Youth XS through Adult XL. $20 for Adult 2XL-4XL. Pay by Cash (exact change) or Check (made out to Bucyrus City Schools) attached to the form or use the QR code to pay online with a card.
Our hope is that students and families can all enjoy wearing these shirts and showing their Redmen Pride! All orders must be in by 9/20.
Dear BES Families,
Please remember for everyone's safety there is no playing on the playground before or after school.
If you have not yet turned in your child's mobile dentist form, please make sure to turn it in by tomorrow.
If you have not completed your child's FinalForms documents yet, we ask that you do so as soon as possible.
Finally, please make sure to complete and return the free/reduced lunch form. Reminder- one form needed per family.

All schools in the Bucyrus City School District will be on a two hour delay tomorrow Thursday April 18, 2024 due to storm damage to the City of Bucyrus. All state testing for tomorrow will be postponed until Friday April 19, 2024.
