Saturday, May 13, 2023 – (Hilliard Darby High School) Bucyrus Middle School Boys and Girls Track and Field Athletes competed in the OHSAA 7th and 8th Grade State Championships. The Middle School Boys Track & Field team put up a collective score of 117 points for first place overall finish. This is the inaugural championship for middle school track athletes in which the event accepted qualifiers statewide. Middle school athletes were able to compete in up to three events open to the top 24 qualifiers in 7th and 8th grade throughout all OHSAA schools. A total of 68 teams participated in the 2023 championship.
