Dr. Mark E Burke Jr., Principal of the Secondary School, has been with Bucyrus City Schools for seventeen years. He has a B.S. In History Education, a M.A. From Ashland University, and a Doctorate in Leadership studies from BGSU. His primary responsibilities include leading educational programming and aligning building and district goals, objectives, and action steps. Mr. Kevin E Fourman, H.S. Associate Principal, has been with Bucyrus City Schools for thirty-two years. He has a B.S. In Education, a MA in TESOL and Bilingual Education, and a Principal License from the University of Findlay. His primary responsibilities include student and staff supervision for grades 9-12, student attendance tracking, and acting as the Bucyrus City School District Program Coordinator for the ODE Resident Educator Program. Mr. Jay Dennison, Associate Principal Secondary, has been with Bucyrus City Schools for thirty-three years. He holds a B.A. in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. His primary responsibilities include discipline and attendance. Jay likes most “the different changes you get to face from day to day and responding to those challenges to make a positive difference with both students and their families” while working at BCS. Mr. Marty Schuster, Middle School Dean of students, has been with Bucyrus City Schools for seventeen years. He has a B.A. in English and a Master’s Degree from BGSU. His primary responsibilities include assisting the secondary building principal and students with credit recovery, online classes, testing, scheduling, and our Redmen Way program. Over the years, Marty has “developed a deep appreciation for the way we value people, relationships, and loyalty to each other.”
