The Bucyrus High School Science Club will host a blood drive from 7:45 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. in the middle school gymnasium May 15. Students interested in donating must be at least 16 years old with parental permission and a valid ID or donor card.

The Science Club hopes members of the community will come out and show their support and help them reach their goal. "The Red Cross is always in need of blood donations, and we are happy to help," Science Club advisor Amanda Kent said. "This is the final blood drive of the year, and we (science club) hope the students and community will help us reach our year long goal of collecting 200 units to help the Red Cross."

All donors will receive a buy one get one free admission for the Columbus Zoo from the Red Cross. To schedule an appointment, contact Kent at (419) 562-7721 ext.1208, or call 1-800-RED CROSS. Those interested can also register online at www.redcrossblood.org and use the sponsor code "bucyrushs." Walk-ins are welcome. You can make a difference. Help save a life!
