Nominations sought for 2017 Bucyrus Hall of Fame class
Posted on 10/11/2016

The Bucyrus City School District is seeking nominations for the Bucyrus City Schools Hall of Fame Class of 2017. The deadline for nominations is Nov. 1, 2016.

The Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who were outstanding high school athletes, former coaches, school officials, or community members that have distinguished themselves and made positive contributions to the Bucyrus City School District. This year’s Hall of Fame class will include up to four individuals and one team.

The Bucyrus Hall of Fame, which extends beyond individual or team athletic accomplishments, is meant to honor those who have made a significant contribution to the Bucyrus City School District. Those who are selected to enter the Bucyrus Hall of Fame will be honored prior to the start of a home varsity boys’ basketball game, and each member of the class will receive an enshrinement plaque during the ceremony.

Hall of Fame nomination forms are available at the Secondary and Elementary Schools, the Lincoln Administrative Center, inside the football programs and online at bucyrusschools.org under “Community.” To learn more about the Bucyrus Hall of Fame, please contact Jay Dennison at 419-562-0003 or email jdennison@bucyrusschools.org.
