The Bucyrus Redmen varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams will host Volley
for The Cure, a regular season high school volleyball match aimed at raising awareness about breast cancer, again this year. The match against Colonel Crawford will begin at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 4, at the Bucyrus Secondary School.
“Cancer has touched several of my team members’ friends and family,” said Head Coach Allysen Coleman. “Having donation games, like Volley for the Cure, raise a lot of money to benefit a great cause – finding a cure for breast cancer.”
In addition to the game itself, an array of baked goods and raffle items will be available for purchase throughout the evening. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go toward the Susan G. Komen for the Cure fund.
If you have questions or need additional information about this great event, please contact Coach Coleman at 419-562-7721.
