The many talents of Bucyrus alumni, current and retired staff and others will be on display for the community during the "Redmen Revue" Saturday, Feb. 28. The event, which is hosted by the Bucyrus High School Players Showchoir, will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Bucyrus High School Little Theatre.

This new event, which used to be staged as "Varsity Night", is being held as a fundraiser for the showchoir's musical education trip to New York City. It is also a way to highlight the talents of alumni and current and retired staff members.

"We have a terrific lineup of extremely talented individuals for the first year of this event," Director of Choirs Nickie French said. "I hope our current students and community members will come out to support those individuals taking the stage Saturday night."

Those showcasing their talents during the "Redmen Revue" include current teacher and Bucyrus alumni Matthew Hoover, Bucyrus alumnae Danielle Rebon and Kaitlyn Fourman, current Elementary School Music Specialist Sarah Martin, current third grade teacher Derek French and many more.

"I am excited to spend the evening enjoying the many talented individuals performing Saturday night," Superintendent Kevin Kimmel said. "I hope the community will join me in supporting the performers and help the Players Showchoir raise the funds necessary for their trip to New York City."

While the event is free and open to the public, there is a suggested donation of $5.00 with all proceeds supporting the Players musical education trip to New York City. For additional information about the "Redmen Revue", please contact Nickie French at nfrench@bucyrusschools.org.
