Bucyrus to Offer Initial Drug Testing to BSS Students
The Bucyrus Athletic Department is offering drug testing to any student entering grades seven through twelve interested in participating in an extracurricular activity and/or receiving a parking permit for the 2012-13 school year.
Drug testing will be held July 19 at the Bucyrus Secondary School. Times are as follows:
* High school boys: 8 - 8:45 a.m.
* Middle school boys: 8:45 - 9:30 a.m.
* High school girls: 9:30 - 10:15 a.m.
* Middle school girls: 10:15 – 11:00 a.m.
Students must have a drug consent form filled out and signed by both the parent and student or he/she will not be permitted to take the test. In addition, each student will need to pay the initial fee of $30 prior to taking the drug test. Checks can be made payable to Bucyrus City Schools. No student will be permitted to participate and/or receive a parking permit without submitting to the drug test first.
