BSS to Hold Parent-Teacher Conferences
The Bucyrus Secondary School will hold fall parent-teacher conferences at the end of the month. Conferences will be held from 3:30-7:15 p.m. Oct. 27, as well as 8-11:45 a.m. Oct. 28. As a result, students in grades six through 12 will not be in session Oct. 28.
Conferences will be scheduled every 20 minutes. “Conferences are an opportunity for parents to communicate with their son or daughter’s teacher on how they are progressing in class,” Bucyrus Secondary School Principal Matt Henderson said, “as well as what can be done at home to help their child be successful in school.” Parents aren’t required to come, but their presence is highly encouraged.
Parents interested in scheduling a meeting can do so starting 8 a.m. Oct. 26, by calling the high school office at (419) 562-7721 or the middle school office at (419) 562-0003. Please note that teachers will be contacting parents directly to set up conferences for those students who are at-risk at the end of the grading period.
