How long have you been with the District? Fall, 1986 - 24 years completed, starting 25th.

Why did you choose Bucyrus?  Bucyrus had the "small town" attraction while still offering the academic opportunities that I wanted to be affiliated with and have for my family & children.

What is your favorite Bucyrus memory?  Over 24 years, there are WAY too many memories to call one a favorite.  From the opportunity to travel abroad with students, to awesome sporting and performing arts events, to seeing the students come back years later for their class reunion as successful adults' all have been memorable.  Personally, I would have to say that it's been a continual favorite memory for me to see our two children start and grow up, through the help of caring educators in our District, to become academically successful in their own lives.

What do you look forward to most during your employment with the Bucyrus City School District?  I look forward to coming to a workplace where both adults and students enjoy themselves and enjoy being at school.  This doesn't apply to ALL adults and students, unfortunately.  However, that one smile or friendly greeting during the day goes a long way.  The student(s) who are in the class room (and in school in general) because they WANT to learn something new today as opposed to those who may only be present because they HAVE to be that makes each day worthwhile.
