Dress Code Information & Updates
As part of the Strategic Plan, which was adopted in 2009, we are reviewing the current student dress code policies. The specific action step from the Strategic Plan states:
"Explore appropriate behavioral expectations for our students. (i.e. classroom behavior, dress code and activity expectations)"
The updated dress code for the 2012-2013 school year can be found in the Bucyrus Secondary School Student/Parent Handbook. The specific information begins on pg. 23 and continues for the next several pages. Click here to access the handbook directly.

January 2012 Parent Dress Code Survey Results
The Bucyrus City Schools' Dress Code Sub-committee recently sent home a five-question, paper survey with every elementary and secondary school student in the district. Results were recently reviewed by the committee and will be used as a guide in the overall decision-making process.
