Bucyrus City School District Hall of Fame

bucyrus-city-schools-logoThe Bucyrus City School District launched its Hall of Fame in 2015.

The Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who were outstanding high school athletes, former coaches, school officials, or community members that have distinguished themselves and made positive contributions to the Bucyrus City School District. The inaugural class of the Hall of Fame included five individuals and one team, and each class after will include two to four individuals and one team.

The district is continuing its long-standing tradition of honoring athletic accomplishments for individuals and teams that achieve certain criteria while in high school through the Athletic Wall of Fame. The Bucyrus Hall of Fame, which extends beyond individual or team accomplishments, is meant to honor those who have made a significant contribution to the Bucyrus City School District.

Those who are selected to enter the Bucyrus Hall of Fame are honored prior to the start of a home varsity boys’ basketball game. Each member of the Hall of Fame receives an enshrinement plaque during the ceremony.
