We are a school that provides high expectations for learners by personalizing and individualizing instruction. I am proud to be a part of this great learning community and the experiences itprovides to students. Bullying/Harassment Cases
During the third nine weeks, there were 11 reported incidents of bullying in grades 6-8. Of those 6 required discipline that included detention, Thursday school, In-School Discipline, emergency removal, out of school suspension, assistance from local law enforcement and expulsion.
The remaining reported incidents were handled through peer mediation and education, parent contact, or did not reach the level of bullying as defined in our Board of Education policy and code of conduct.
The break down by grade is as follows:
6th grade – 7 reported incidents, 6 required disciplinary action
7th grade – 2 reported incidents, 0 required disciplinary action
8th grade – 2 reported incidents, 0 required disciplinary action
The totals for the 2012-2013 school year through three quarters are:
6th grade – 14 reported incidents, 9 required disciplinary action
7th grade – 7 reported incidents, 1 required disciplinary action
8th grade – 9 reported incidents, 3 required disciplinary action
