Parent Speak

"I felt very comfortable for my daughter to be in Bucyrus City Preschool. My daughter had a tough week in the beginning, but because of teachers’ patience and their positive supports, she started liking school and enjoyed the various activities provided by school. I enjoyed watching her singing English songs learnt from school and writing alphabet with confidence. I and my daughter can’t wait for the 2nd year at Bucyrus City Preschool!" - Nahoko Jonori

"Knowing my youngest child would have to go to preschool for three years our first thought was to keep him home another year before sending him. After bringing him to screening, which at the time he was 2 turning 3 in Aug, we felt comfortable sending him to their program. He received speech therapy which has helped him tremendously with his vocabulary. By the end of the year we discovered he had sensory issues. We were consistent by keeping him with the same teacher for two years which has helped with his development. As a parent I just thought he had behavior issues to learn there was a way to help him also helped me. Without the support from the school system I don’t think my child would be where he is today.  I would recommend their program to anyone and especially to parents with children with needs; they take the time to know your child and help with their success and make sure the parents are involved 100%." - Shantah Fry

"After a year at the Bucyrus City Schools' Preschool, my son's speech and social skills have improved.  I feel this will help him in the future.  I would recommend this preschool program to other parents for their children." - Dee Miley
