Bucyrus prom set for May 4

Bucyrus students will enjoy a trip to outer space during this year’s prom night Saturday, May 4. The Grand March will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Bucyrus Secondary School, followed by a dance at the Trillium Event Center in Bucyrus from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

“This night is the highlight of the school year for these kids,” Event Co-Coordinator Kayli McCullough said. “This is the last big event seniors will get to share with their classmates and friends before graduation. Our hope is that they enjoy their evening while making positive memories that will last them a lifetime.”

The Prom King and Queen will be announced following the Grand March at approximately 7:30 p.m. Lifetouch will be on hand to take professional photographs as well.

“Our students look forward to this evening with great anticipation and excitement,” Secondary School Principal Dr. Mark Burke. “Taylor Tackett and Kayli McCullough, our Prom co-advisors, have done a great job working with our students this year. We want all those in attendance to have a great time, but we also want them to be safe and respectful to each other.”
