Bucyrus Elementary music programs set for April 4

The Bucyrus Elementary School music department is excited to announce the date and musical selections for its spring music program.

The kindergarten program will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by the first-grade program at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, April 4. All programs will be held in the elementary school auditorium.

This year’s musical selections are as follows:

Kindergarten program – “How I Love Those Seasons”

  • Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall

  • Springtime Sunshine
  • Spring Fever
  • Summer Is Coming
  • Crunchy Leaves

First Grade program – “Sounds of Slumber”

  • Twinkle, Twinkle

  • Bite of Moon
  • Lion Sleeps Tonight
  • Skinnamarink
  • Time to Sleep
  • Million Dreams
  • This Little Light

Programs are under the direction of music specialist Sarah Martin. “Each year, every grade level here at BES puts on a program that is open to their families and the community,” Martin said. “The students get so excited to put on these programs for the people they know.  They love to perform.  As a music teacher, it is a great way for me to instill a life-long love of music and learning, which I hope they continue to pursue.”
