Bucyrus XBand returning to Cleveland for Rock Hall competition

The Bucyrus High School XBand has been invited to perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in the 23rd annual Tri-C High School Rock Off Saturday Feb. 2. Doors the night of the performance will open at 6:00 p.m.

The XBand is one of forty-four bands from Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Pennsylvania competing for this year’s grand prize of more than $2,000. The competition began Jan. 19, and three bands from each of the three preliminary rounds will be chosen to perform again during The Final Exam Saturday, Feb. 16.

“Our XBand members did a wonderful job during last year’s competition,” Director of Bands Mark Fiske said. “The students and I are very excited for this opportunity, and we can’t wait to show everyone the awesome musical talents at Bucyrus High School.”
