Bucyrus College Credit Plus meeting set for Jan 7

The Bucyrus Secondary School is excited to host the College Credit Plus informational meeting on Monday, January 7. The meeting will be held in the Bucyrus Secondary School’s Media Center and will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. Students who will be enrolled in grades 7-12 for the 2019-2020 school year at Bucyrus Secondary School, and their parents, are invited to attend this event.

The meeting will give a general overview of this cooperative educational program and be presented by representatives from the Bucyrus Secondary School, The Ohio State University at Marion, Marion Technical College and North Central State College. This program gives students the opportunity to earn college credit before graduation without ever leaving Bucyrus Secondary School.

This early college partnership program offers qualified Secondary School students the opportunity to enroll in college level courses for high school and college credit. Tuition, fees and the cost of books will be provided at no cost to parents if their child qualifies for the program. For more information about the upcoming informational meeting, please contact Secondary School Principal Dr. Mark Burke or School Counselor Kelly Conn at (419) 562-7721.
